~ Before Human Thought ~

Imagine this earth before any living today can speak of.
It is the elements that have always been.
Mountains eroding slowly to the beach as grains of sand.
Imagine this earth as it was before.
When the air has an unrealized fragrance .
When birds awoke to the same sun, nightingales sang lullabies under a moonlit sky.
Waves washed ashore seeding another beachhead with treasures from a distant land.
The stars in the skies were farther.
Life moved with this rhythm becoming with the dark then waking with light reaching into the blue .
And here I sit writing a thought of spirit not a philosophy.
There were eclipses seen by the tall grasses, they seeded back into their earth, their meadow sent a collective wave of colour to an evening of stars.
Then somewhere a lake reflecting a world speaks of the rain~ memory of being taken inside by the tongue quenching a thirst then purring through emerald eyes under a canopy sky, full of stars.
Sighing, the lake reflects another sentient piece of earth skyward.
And here, we are in wonder of what remains encoded.
In our bodies, as memories, finding another that understands, gifting a puzzle piece into your palms.
This picture familiar so clear mercurial and alive. Goosebumps rise when we sigh into a starry night .

We once were

Beauty full evening outside
always stars evening turning carousel slowly
like an illuminated dew suspended while spider plays a larger strand.
Always for a watching eye
always under a sky
always returning turning life outside beside an earthly soil warming.
Beauty once named these ways of stars,
where pyramids built to point the way to the heart of Isis.
Always venus dreams
always just as brightly speaking of the breast
of a gathering of points in the sky, so crimson beats this heart star .
Chasing the metal of evening sky.
For there in a glance we once were then
when pyramids became a destination to the star of Isis.

Cage of a Moonless night

                    image

Only period of a day on earth which frees a soul,
stimulated under a moonless purple sky.
From all corners of being or should I say the curves of a face,
the vesper of a cooler breeze letting you know you’re inhabiting a body.
          Although always the eyes,
a crease furrows down the face keeping a pulse.
It is so quiet, a nonhuman stillness,
one that unlocks the prison of a scorching day.
Even is even as day flatlines to an evening which frees a soul.
It is upon your eyes, within this sepal opening voiceless,
here tiny motes of light dance.
Always the eyes, always the earth,                                                                                                                        always are we caught in these cycles,                                                                                                                        beholding the sky of stars under a moonless evening.                                                                                                             Wish making in the falling stars in your eyes.

Turning slowly a way

Turning slowly a way

There is this stillness before all the stars come out.
looking up high to a lapis sky at twilight,
justly a couple of shining planets that reflect the hidden sun .

This wash of sapphire across the vault of another silent evening . Caught tween memory waiting for a starry sky,
vibrating another darkness deeply .
Here stillness whispers as each star awakens from the veil of light.
It is this vespertine between, an anxious sigh of what remains slipping a long hold of day.
There was a halo round the sun.
But this is the night coming awake as the light blue becomes beauty.
a blackness of wonder flowering shards changing a timeless ceiling.
This evening will hold no moon.
Just stars and planets sending light from the hidden sun.
Here I listen to these stars.
find a thought tucked away evaporate to these awakening stars .
